MIGRAINE - Four Humors

Final 7" from this young Bay Area band with a lot of familiar faces. I think these guys often got the "mysterious guy HC" tag, and indeed this has that sloppy, noisy, and ugly sound that's very much akin to the kind of stuff Youth Attack puts out... the basic foundation is just wild and fast hardcore, but the way that lead overdubs come in super loud and songs start off with noisy skronk gives it that distinctly "artsy" vibe. Still, this is fucking rager and if you're into Sex/Vid or the best bands on Youth Attack you'll dig this. Killer artwork too! Lengua Armada Records
